EDF
EDF with collaboration with each provincial committee will compile scholarship donated to each curriculum year to disburse further to each province in the targeted area.

The EDF Provincial screening committee **
The EDF Provincial committee will grant scholarship to selected underprivileged students of each year. Schools will be responsible for reporting the overall amount of poor students in the school that are liable to receive scholarship.

** The EDF Provincial committee comprise of the officials under the Educational Promotion Department from 59 Educational Area Offices in 19 provinces of the Northeastern part of Thailand where such officials work voluntarily in assisting EDF projects.

Schools in the EDF Scholarship Project
EDF choose students from the 3, 700 schools by the poorest student who finish Grade 6 and intend to further their education to Grade 7. For this, students will need to fill in details in the scholarship application form and submit to the EDF Provincial committee who will collect the forms and finally send back to EDF.

Upon receiving the scholarship application forms from every school, EDF will proceed to select students with the following qualities

Being poor with family income not greater than 25,000 Baht per annum
|

Being well-mannered and having an intention to study further to junior high school
|

Not being a child of an official, a kamnam or a headman of the village
|

Random Visit
Following after the selection of qualified students for the scholarship through the application form, the EDF will choose some students from the 19 provincial areas to randomly visit in order to confirm the quality of students and the validity of the information by interviewing parents, teachers and neighbors.

The Announcement of Scholar Students
Upon selecting students with the specified qualities, EDF will announce the name of students who are granted scholarship for the curriculum year by submitting documents to the EDF Provincial committee and the name of the schools where students belong.
