Hello! My name is Prakaifon, nick name Namfon and I am currently in Grade 10, Nakornratchasima province.
I have one older brother named Nick. My family is struggling financially. My father passed away when I was in Grade 2 due to a chronic illness, leaving my mother to raise us alone. After my brother finished Grade 9, he went to work in electric pole construction in Chonburi to support our family. Now, he is the main provider, sending my mother 2,000 baht per month to help with expenses.
My mother works as a rice farmer and also weaves silk as a side job. On weekends, I help her with farming and cutting grass along the rice fields. After school, I take care of household chores like cooking, washing dishes, and sweeping the house. Some of the dishes I can cook include omelets, stir-fried basil pork, and spicy Vietnamese sausage salad.
I receive 20 baht per day for school expenses, and I try to save 5 baht each day in my piggy bank to deposit in the bank later.
At school, I assist my teachers whenever they need help. My favorite subjects are Mathematics and Physical Education.
I am a female futsal player representing my school and have won first place in a district-level competition. I also participated in the Korat Zone 6 Games, 11th edition, competing in the 200-meter sprint and won second place.
In academics, I competed in a Health and Physical Education Quiz Contest and won 4th place. I always contribute to school activities because I believe that both education and extracurricular involvement help us grow as individuals.
I aspire to become a police officer because it is a stable career that will allow me to support my mother financially. If I receive a scholarship in 2025, it will help relieve my family’s financial burden. I also plan to save part of the scholarship to invest in my education and pursue my dream.
