Yamonphorn and Yamonphan, 12, EDF Scholarship Candidate (Grade7-9) Year 2019, Surin Province
Yamonphorn and Yamonphan 12-year twin sisters who just entering their 7th grade in school in Surin province, Thailand in this school year 2019.

They are now living with elderly grandmother and uncle suffered from prolonged illness and unable to earn for a living. 
Their mother passed away from heart disease many years ago while their father was unknown.
The grandmother is, therefore, an only breadwinner of the family, working as menial worker and earn only 4,000 baht monthly which is insufficient for medical expense for the sick uncle and also the twins' education expenses. The teacher then decided to apply for EDF scholarship for them so that they could get education sponsorship for their brighter future!

 

They dream to be teacher so that they can earn enough income to help support family.

If they get scholarships, they will spend for education expenses to help lessen burden of the grandmother.
